Day 1
Bishkek – Song-Kul lake
Today, you’ll begin your scenic transfer to the breathtaking Song-Kul Lake, traversing the majestic Kalmak-Ashuu Pass, which rises to an impressive 3,400 meters. Along this picturesque route, we will make a captivating stop at the remarkable Burana Tower, an ancient structure dating back to the 10th-11th century. This historic tower once served as a vital milestone on the Great Silk Road, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore its majestic architecture and the surrounding area for approximately one hour, immersing yourself in the rich history and culture of the region.
As we continue our journey, we will pause for lunch at a charming café, where you can savor delicious local cuisine while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.
Afterward, we’ll drive onward to Song-Kul Lake, a serene jewel nestled among stunning mountain landscapes. Here, you will have the chance to unwind in nature, taking in the breathtaking vistas and exploring the serene surroundings.
As the day comes to a close, you’ll indulge in a delightful dinner at a cozy yurt camp, where you can experience the warmth of traditional hospitality. After a day filled with adventure and exploration, you’ll retire to your yurt for a restful overnight stay.

Day 2
Song-Kul lake – Tash-Rabat Caravanserai
After a leisurely breakfast, we will set off on our drive to the historic Tash-Rabat Caravanserai, traversing the stunning landscapes via the Moldo-Bel and MELS passes. The drive from Song-Kul Lake to Moldo-Bel Pass will take you along the scenic shores of Song-Kul Lake, offering breathtaking views of the water and surrounding mountains, providing a truly immersive experience in nature.
During our journey, we will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch, allowing you to savor delicious local dishes amidst the beautiful surroundings.
Upon arrival at Tash-Rabat, you’ll have the chance to explore the fascinating ancient caravanserai, a significant stop along the Silk Road. This historic site provides insight into the rich trading history of the region and the life of travelers who once sought refuge here.
As the day comes to a close, you’ll settle into your yurt at the camp and enjoy a hearty dinner, followed by a restful night under the stars.

Day 3
Tash-Rabat Caravanserai – Kol-Suu Lake
In the morning, we will begin our transfer to the stunning Kol-Suu Lake, passing through the scenic border zone. Our route will take us through the picturesque Kyndy Pass, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
As we continue, we will drive through the expansive Ak-Sai Valley, known for its dramatic scenery and natural beauty. Along the way, we’ll make a refreshing coffee break in the valley, allowing you to take in the magnificent views and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
Upon arrival at the yurt camp near Kol-Suu Lake, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and have the opportunity to relax and unwind. Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with local ingredients, followed by some time to rest and immerse yourself in the unique yurt experience.
As the day draws to a close, you will gather for dinner at the yurt camp, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers before settling in for a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.

Day 4
Day at Kol-Suu Lake, transfer to Eki-Naryn
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will start our day early at 08:00 with a 2-hour trek to the breathtaking Kol-Suu Lake. This stunning alpine lake, known for its vivid turquoise waters and surrounded by dramatic peaks, is a true gem of the region. The journey offers captivating views of the rugged landscape, providing an opportunity to experience the pristine beauty of nature.
For those seeking a different experience, optional horseback riding to the lake and back is available, offering a unique perspective of the stunning surroundings. Additionally, a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of Kol-Suu Lake can be arranged for an unforgettable adventure.
Upon returning from the lake, we will enjoy a delightful lunch back at the yurt camp.
In the afternoon, we will drive directly to Eki-Naryn Gorge, passing through the beautiful landscapes of the region.
Upon arrival in Eki-Naryn Gorge, we will settle into cozy accommodations in Tash-Bashat Village, where you can unwind and enjoy the warm hospitality of the local community. Dinner and accommodation in local guesthouse.

Day 5
Eki-Naryn – Tosor Pass – South shore of Issyk-Kul Lake
After a fulfilling breakfast, we will embark on our journey to Bokonbaev Village, taking the stunning Tosor Pass, which rises to an impressive 3,893 meters above sea level. As we ascend, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Issyk-Kul Lake from the top of the pass, making this section of the journey truly memorable. The road itself is both challenging and beautiful, offering a thrilling ride through the magnificent landscape.
During our travel, we will enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the region. Additionally, we will make coffee stops in nature, allowing you to relax and soak in the serene environment.
On our way, we will visit Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairytale Canyon, renowned for its striking rock formations and vibrant colors. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore the canyon and capture stunning photographs of this unique landscape.
Upon our evening arrival in Bokonbaev Village, you will settle into a yurt camp located right on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. Enjoy a delicious dinner and experience the warmth of local hospitality, followed by a restful overnight stay as you fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the lake.

Day 6
Southern Issyk-Kul – Karakol
After a hearty breakfast, we will set off toward Karakol, with our first stop being the picturesque Barskoon Gorge. Known for its stunning waterfalls and lush coniferous forests, this gorge is a perfect spot for a short walk and memorable photo opportunities. You’ll also have the chance to visit the Gagarin monument, a tribute to the first man in the space that adds a unique touch to the beautiful surroundings.
Next, we’ll proceed to the Jeti-Oguz Gorge, where you can marvel at the iconic “Seven Bulls” red cliffs, known for their striking appearance and rich folklore. This picturesque location is perfect for photography and immersing yourself in the surrounding beauty.
Continuing our journey, we will drive to Karakol, where you’ll enjoy dinner at a local café, experiencing the flavors of the region. Afterward, you’ll settle into a comfortable guesthouse for a restful overnight stay (B&B), ready for the adventures that await you the next day.

Day 7
Day Trip to Altyn-Arashan Gorge
Today, you will embark on an adventurous drive to the Altyn-Arashan hot springs, traveling in authentic Soviet military vehicles, either UAZ or GAZ, which add a unique touch to your journey. The ride through the stunning landscapes will set the tone for a day of relaxation and natural beauty.
Upon arrival at Altyn-Arashan, you will enjoy a delicious lunch before immersing yourself in the soothing natural hot springs. Here, you can unwind and soak in the warm waters while taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery that surrounds you—an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Afterward, you’ll have the option to trek down or drive back to Karakol, enjoying the beautiful views along the way.

Transfer to Bishkek
After an early breakfast, we will begin our transfer to Bishkek, taking a scenic route that includes a drive through the stunning Semenovskoe and Grigorievskoe Gorges. These gorges are known for their dramatic landscapes, lush greenery, and breathtaking mountain views, making the journey an unforgettable experience.
Along the way, we will make a special stop to visit the open-air museum of petroglyphs, where you can explore ancient rock paintings that provide a fascinating glimpse into the region’s history and culture.
Following these enriching experiences, we will have lunch at a café in Cholpon-Ata, enjoying local cuisine before continuing our journey.
