Bel-Tam Yurt Camp (Est. 2011)
The story of Bel-Tam is, above all, the story of Aida ¬– one of the first women entrepreneurs to establish a yurt camp on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Her idea was born from a desire to create a place where nomadic traditions are preserved while sustainable tourism develops, benefiting the local community.
Initially, the camp was located in the mountains, far from busy travel routes. Over time, however, following the recommendation of our tourism alliance director, Aida made an important decision to move the camp closer to Issyk-Kul, to the lake’s southern shore. Thus began a new chapter in the story – Bel-Tam Sea Side, which started with just three yurts.
Gradually, the project grew and evolved, attracting more and more travelers who value authentic experiences and closeness to nature. Today, Bel-Tam offers guests not only traditional yurts, but also modern eco-houses and mini-hotel, while preserving the spirit of nomadic life.

Jaichy Yurt Camp offers accommodation in traditional yurts, home-style meals, horseback tours and horse games, wildlife watching, and trekking routes to the high mountains.
