TRIP ITINERARY

Bishkek – Issyk-Kul lake – Song-Kol Lake – Kol-Suu lake – Naryn  – Konorchok canyons – Bishkek

Day 1

Bishkek to Bokonbaevo: A Scenic Drive with Eagle Hunting Experience

Morning departure to the southern Issyk-Kul Lake, 5 hours. On the way, visit the Burana Tower architectural complex (10-11th century, an important point on the Great Silk Road), 15km from the main road. Continue your trip to Issyk-Kul Lake, today lunch will be at Jaychi yurt camp, also there you will see eagle hunting show.  Enjoy your time at the lakeshore. Dinner and overnight are in a yurt camp near the lakeshore.

Day 2

Bokonbaevo to Song-Kul lake: A Scenic Journey through Nature and Culture

Transfer from Bishkek to Song-Kol Lake via Kalmak-Ashuu pass, arrive to the lake by late lunch time, have a lunch at yurt camp. Free time. Spend the day enjoying a refreshing and well-earned rest at the lake-side. Watch and/or participate in the everyday life of the shepherds: milking mares; making traditional Kyrgyz milk products like Kymyz (fermented mare’s milk) or Airan (a sour, dense milk product); tending cattle. Optional, horse riding. Dinner and B&B will be at Yurt camp.

Day 3

Song-Kul lake to Kol-Suu lake: A Day of Adventure in Nature

In the morning, we will transfer to the Kol-Suu Lake via the 32-sloop pass. During the journey, we will stop at the border zone, where you will need to show your border permit to enter the area. Dinner and accommodation will be provided at traditional yurt camp.

Day 4

Kol-Suu Lake to Emgek – Talaa (Naryn): A Scenic Journey through Natural Beauty

After early breakfast, start hiking to Kol-Suu Lake. Walk around the area, enjoy time there and try boat trip. Have a picnic lunch at the lake. Afternoon drive to Emgek-Talaa. B&B will be provided. Dinner at café.

Drive time: 5 hours

Optional Experience: you can enjoy a boat trip on Kol-Suu Lake and take in the breathtaking scenery during your ride.

Day 5

Emgek-Talaa to Bishkek: A Day of Excitement

After breakfast transfer to Bishkek. On the way visit Konorchek canyons, explore the area and continue to Bishkek.
